Artist Statements
Clay
The reason I chose to make this piece is because I like snakes.

I took slabs of clay and formed them together to make the vase and made some into tubes to make the snake.
Coil
I like the Marvel and DC comics so I chose to make a version of Batman for this piece. The emotion I tried to show in the piece was anger because everyone gets angry but he still stays calm.

I outlined his head on a gray piece of paper thin I started adding layers of charcoal to start giving it value. Thin I started to add darker charcoal and chalk to add the darker and lighter areas. I also put red in the background to show his emotion.
Color Pencils
I made a realistic looking Pokemon because I like the show and the games. Pokemon is something that I have always enjoyed. I drew out a picture of the Pokemon, Charizard, fully evolved and I tried to make him look as realistic as you can make a Pokemon.

I just drew the picture out and started coloring the picture his classic color.
Pin & Ink
I made the wolf for the fact that I like wolfs.
I made a watercolor background by blending multiple colors on the paper. After the watercolor dried I lightly outlined the wolf. I took the pen and ink starting at the top left started making the fur and designs in the wolf like the eyes, mouth, nose, ears, and the rest of the small details.
Glass Lotus
I like that type of flower so I made it look glass-like and gave it colors that I like.

I made a very light outline with my pencil so I knew where to put the colors. I then took Prisma Color Pencils and started to put in the colors and the white areas to make it looked like colored glass
Paining
The reason that I decided to paint a wolf is simply because I love wolfs.

I painted the background first with grays and greens to start forming the ground and the darkness under the trees. I made the outline of where I put the wolf pup. I started to add light grays and white to the wolf pup along with browns for the fur. I added the smaller details in after making the fur details.
oil
The reason that I made a Templar Knight because my family has studied the Templar order.

I outlined the knight lightly with a pencil I took oil pastels and put in the areas that I knew was going to be dark. I erased the pencil lines as I went along with the oil pastels in the light areas. I went over the areas multiple times to bring out the light and dark areas. I added all the smaller details after and thin I just simply added layers and blinded some areas together.
perspective
I was not too sure about this project so I just made the first thing I thought about for the three pictures in two, three, and five point perspective.
I drew the pictures out in pencil. After I did that I went over the pencil lines with pen and I did the shading after.
